The director declined to specify what the excised chapter would have shown or which of the two playable characters it would have followed.

Nakanishi explained that the team treats game structure like editing text or video: moving, adding, or cutting scenes during the rough draft stage. Nakanishi provided no further details.

Elsewhere in the interview, Nakanishi commented on Requiem's viral "Final Puzzle," which the community solved faster than expected—within days, whereas he had anticipated at least two weeks. Capcom plans to add a new mode next month, accessible only after completing the main game.
