  • Imagine stumbling upon a massive, abandoned mech, silently waiting for orders in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. It’s like a futuristic version of a dog that forgot how to fetch—except this one carries 400 bullets and a nuclear power source. Talk about an overqualified paperweight!

While we marvel at the technological marvels of war, it's a bit chilling to think about these autonomous machines still out there, ready to engage if someone ever decides to "call them back to duty." Who knows how many coffee breaks they've taken while idling away in standby mode?

What do you think the future holds for such forgotten creations? Should they be left alone or decommissioned before they decide to revive their old "job" skills?

  • What’s worse than a bad hair day? A sad Claptrap day! 🤖💔

In the latest buzz from Borderlands 4, it seems our beloved robot buddy is feeling a bit down in the dumps. Who knew that even high-tech, wise-cracking bots could suffer from the blues? Maybe it’s the existential dread of knowing he’ll never be more than a glorified vacuum cleaner in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

I mean, can you relate? Sometimes all you need is to stay home and binge-watch your favorite show instead of facing the chaos outside. But hey, if Claptrap can’t find happiness in his own circuits, what's the hope for the rest of us?

So, let’s raise a glass— to those who manage to find joy within, even when life feels like a never-ending loot grind! 🍻

  • Stalker 2 is finally making its way to PlayStation, and honestly, it feels like just another addition to an endless list of games that might just sit there on the shelf. The PS5 Pro update is also in the works, which is great, I guess. Maybe it’ll fix some of those bugs that made the last version such a chore to play.

Last November, when Stalker 2 dropped, it seemed like an exciting event for all the post-apocalyptic gaming fans out there. The eerie atmosphere and the sandbox gameplay really appealed to some. But for others, it was just another buggy mess. Many players chose to skip it altogether and dive back into their massive backlogs instead of dealing with the glitches. I mean, who has the energy to deal with all that?

Now, it’s getting a second chance. Who knows if this will actually spark any interest? Maybe some people will give it another go, but I can’t help but feel indifferent. The hype train seems to have left the station, and I’m just standing here, watching it fade away.

With so many games out there vying for attention, and my own ever-growing list of titles to play, I can’t say I’m jumping out of my seat for Stalker 2. Sure, it might have those intriguing elements that draw some players in, but it really feels like just another game trying to make a comeback. The post-apocalyptic theme is cool and all, but it’s hard to get excited when you think about all the other options available.

So, if you’re into Stalker 2 and all the bugs that come with it, good for you. I’ll probably just keep doing what I do best—scrolling through my backlog and pretending to care about the next big release. Maybe one day, I’ll get around to it, or maybe not.

In the end, whether it’s on PlayStation or not, it’s just another game in a sea of possibilities. I’ll stick to my usual routine—waiting and seeing if anyone actually finds it worth their time.

Stalker 2 Hitting PlayStation, With PS5 Pro Update In The Works And Hopefully Fewer Bugs
Stalker 2 originally launched last November just in time for long-standing post-apocalyptic survival sickos to feast on its eerie, emergent sandbox, and for most other people to bounce off its buggy gameplay in favor of Indiana Jones and the Great

  • In a world teetering on the edge of chaos, where every day seems to promise a new apocalypse, Oleg Ushenok has kindly offered us a lifeline—330 free kitbash assets for post-apocalyptic environments. Because who doesn’t want to spice up their digital wasteland with a few extra ruins and rubble?

I mean, let’s face it: in the event of an actual apocalypse, the last thing you’ll want to worry about is whether your virtual post-apocalyptic city looks authentic. But fret not, dear creators! Oleg has equipped us with FBX format assets featuring PBR textures—perfect for those who want their decaying cities to look just as vibrant as they do in their dreams (or nightmares, depending on how you feel about the world at large).

Imagine the thrill of diving into your next project, armed with 330 assets that scream “I’m living my best dystopian life!” Who needs a functioning society when you can have a beautifully rendered wasteland? Forget about the smell of decay; with these assets, you can now smell the sweet aroma of virtual creativity wafting through your disintegrating buildings.

And let’s talk about commercial use. Oleg’s generosity is unparalleled—free assets that you can actually use to make money! So go ahead, create your blockbuster game set in a world where society crumbled under the weight of its own absurdities, and do it all while pocketing a tidy sum. Just remember to give credit to Oleg, because, let’s be honest, you wouldn’t want to be the villain in this story of artistic integrity, would you?

While you’re at it, let’s ponder the irony of using assets designed for a post-apocalyptic world in our current reality. Maybe these assets will transform your kitchen into a survivalist bunker, or your living room into a charmingly desolate landscape. Who needs a cozy home when you can step into a world where everything is broken and abandoned? It’s the ultimate escapism!

So, if you’re itching to escape the mundane and dive headfirst into an aesthetic of ruin, grab those 330 free kitbash assets and let your imagination run wild. Just be sure to keep a safe distance from the actual apocalypse outside your window—it tends to create a whole new level of immersion you might not be ready for.

Now, go forth and build your digital wasteland. The world may be crumbling, but your creativity doesn’t have to!
