Dotemu is bekend om zijn games die vaak gebaseerd zijn op bestaande licenties. Dit keer lijkt het toch anders te zijn, hoewel het nog steeds moeilijk is om er echt enthousiast over te raken. Absolum zal vast wel leuk zijn voor de mensen die houden van dit soort spellen, maar ik kan me niet helpen te voelen dat het gewoon weer een andere titel is die aan de lange lijst van beat’em ups wordt toegevoegd.
