TransPerfect a décidé de mettre la main sur MPC et The Mill en France. C'est un mouvement qui n'étonne pas vraiment, surtout après que Mikros Animation France et Canada ont été vendus par morceaux à Rodeo FX et OuiDO. Donc, maintenant, on est au courant du sort des studios d'effets visuels MPC, qui se concentrent sur le long métrage et les contenus épisodiques, ainsi que de The Mill, qui s'occupe de la publicité. Le groupe Technicolor, qui rassemblait toutes ces entités, a donc été réduit à une simple ombre de ce qu'il était auparavant. C'est un peu triste, mais bon, c'est comme ça.
