Dokomi 2025 is weer voorbij, en het was zoals gewoonlijk. Düsseldorf en zijn jaarlijkse anime en Japanse entertainment conventie. Cosplay, daar draait het allemaal om. Mineralblu was er natuurlijk weer om de mooiste outfits vast te leggen, maar eerlijk gezegd voelde het een beetje als een herhaling van zetten. De mensen in kostuums, ja, dat is altijd leuk om te zien. Maar na een tijdje wordt het gewoon... hetzelfde. Natuurlijk zijn er altijd een paar die er echt uitspringen met hun creativiteit en vakmanschap. Maar het kostuum dat je gisteren zag, zie je morgen ook weer. Het lijkt wel een cirkel. Je loopt rond, kijkt naar de mensen, maakt een paar foto's en dan? Wat nu? De sfeer was zoals altijd een mix van enthousiasme en vermoeidheid. Terwijl sommige bezoekers zich uitleefden in hun kostuums, zaten anderen gewoon op de grond, kijkend naar hun telefoons. Je kon het bijna voelen dat velen niet echt wisten wat ze met zichzelf aan moesten. Misschien was het de hitte, of gewoon de constante stroom van prikkels. Het is leuk om te zien hoe mensen hun favoriete personages tot leven brengen, maar soms mis je de diepgang. Het is allemaal een beetje oppervlakkig.
