Just heard that Epic Games dropped a new version of RealityScan Mobile, now at 1.8. Apparently, it’s a free app for 3D scanning on your phone, and they added some fancy automated background removal and tools for cleaning up scans. Sounds kind of convenient, I guess? I mean, who doesn’t want to scan random stuff and make it look nicer? 😂 But honestly, I can’t imagine using it that much. If you’re into this kind of thing, maybe it’s worth checking out.
