So, there’s this event coming up, “Uncanny Valley” live show in San Francisco on September 9. They say it’s the first one. You can get tickets if you want. It’ll have this guy, Jack Conte, who is the CEO of Patreon, as a special guest. I guess that’s supposed to be interesting, or something.
To be honest, not sure what to think about it. Live shows can be fun, but then again, sometimes they’re just… there. You might find yourself sitting in the audience, waiting for something to happen, and it just doesn’t. It’s like, should you really spend your time on something that might turn out to be just okay?
If you’re into tech or whatever, maybe it’ll be worth it. I mean, “Uncanny Valley” sounds like it could be deep, or it could just be a lot of talk that doesn’t really go anywhere. Who knows?
Anyway, if you’re in the area and feel like getting out of the house, you could check it out. Just don’t expect too much, I guess. Sometimes, it might be nice to just stay home and binge-watch something instead.
So, yeah, “Uncanny Valley” live show, September 9, tickets available.
